Why Blechwarenfabrik Limburg is becoming LIMBURGER

Our company history spans over 150 years, during which we have continuously evolved. What once started as a traditional tinplate factory has grown into a highly modern corporate group, developing innovative packaging solutions for a wide range of industries.

 

 

This transformation has made us an internationally recognized expert in sustainable and future-oriented packaging. However, our previous name no longer fully reflected this evolution.

With LIMBURGER – The Packaging Group, we are making a clear statement:

 

 

  • LIMBURGER represents our heritage, our identity, and our long-standing family business.
  • The Packaging Group highlights our extensive expertise in packaging and our development into a corporate group offering innovative solutions.L

 

This name change is not a departure from our history—on the contrary, it is a logical step in uniting tradition and modernity.

What’s the story behind the new logo?

Of course, a new name also comes with a new logo. The requirements for our logo were high:

  • Striking – Memorable and unique within the industry.
  • Structured – Clear shapes and a strong visual language.
  • Value-oriented – Expressing what defines us as a company.

 

During our search for a symbol that represents our values and our motto, “Innovative by Tradition,” we came across a small tin robot.
 

This robot embodies exactly what we stand for:

  • Tradition & Material – The robot is made of tin, the material with which our history began.
  • Internationality – The tin robot is recognized worldwide—even featuring its own emojis.
  • Recognition & Boldness – It is unique, highly recognizable, and has a bold design.

     

Moreover, it reflects our core values:

 

 

Responsibility – A personal character that shows we care about our customers and the environment.

 

❤️ Passion & Dedication – The robot resembles a toy, evoking fun and emotions.

 

Technology & Progress – As a robot, it symbolizes innovation, precision, and the future.

 

 

With the redesign of our brand identity, we not only need a group logo but also individual logos for the companies within our group.

 

These new logos will:

 

  • Depict more modern robots – Each with specific skills and expertise that reflect the strengths of the respective company.
  • Form a cohesive unit – Despite their individual differences, the affiliation with the group remains unmistakable.

With this bold repositioning, we are combining our rich tradition with an innovative vision for the future.
